Have video audio and the video file seperate

You can achieve this with what you already have. Drag your video onto a Video track, then turn the sound all the way down. Then drag the same video to an audio track which is right under the video track ... make sure the audio track volume is turned up. The Video track will play only the video. The audio track will play only the audio. Not sure why you would do this the way the software is at this time ... but it could come in very useful if you want to record a separate audio file and try and sync it with the video. But ... as I have requested the audio track really has to show the wavelength so you can sync exactly together. Hope this helps ...
